Christine Barnes
Director, Services & Operations

Christine is responsible for the coordination of all client projects and partner communications at Food Consulting Company. She handles the day-to-day management of projects including client inquiries, custom requests, assigning regulatory specialists based on expertise and delivery of completed work. Christine is also responsible for implementing our monthly e-newsletter Food Label News, designing back office systems and managing human resources for the company.

Before joining Food Consulting Company, Christine held a variety of project management, office manager and administrative positions with an industrial psychologist, Wellesley College – Center for Research on Women, Omni Health Systems and West Newton Savings Bank.

Christine is certified as a virtual assistant, a concept she initiated at Food Consulting Company in 1999 which has become the operational backbone of the company ever since. Christine’s education includes liberal arts courses at Framingham State College, Framingham, MA, and a number of software trainings at Wellesley College, Wellesley, MA.
